Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a humane, cost-effective way to decrease the population of feral and stray cats within a community. It involves trapping all the cats in a colony, having them spayed/neutered, returning the cats back to their territory.

In collaboration with the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine, Cat Haven coordinates 8 Spay Days each year to offer a low-cost spay/neuter option to those in need! Register now to be considered for spay day!

Trap Rental

Cat Haven rents traps to the community for TNR efforts. Trap rental requires a refundable $50 security deposit and a non-refundable $10 fee. Traps may be rented for up to 7 days. Traps kept beyond 7 days will incur a late fee of $2 per additional day.
