Adoption fees are as follows:

$125 for cats who are 7 months or older.

$135 for kittens up to 7 months of age. 

Your adoption fee covers:

  • Spay/neuter

  • Testing for feline diseases

  • Age-appropriate vaccinations

  • Microchip

  • De-flea/De-worm treatments

When you adopt a furever friend from Cat Haven, you are adopting a cat or kitten that has received extraordinary loving care from our volunteers and the area's best veterinarians! We are open to the public everyday of the week so potential adopters can meet and interact with our furry friends.

 

Once you've found your purrfect match, you can complete an adoption application at our adoption center or online. Please note that an approved online adoption application does not guarantee that one of out cats will be suitable for your home or be the best match for you and your family. You will need to come to our facility and interact with the cats  and not make a decision based on the online picture. We also cannot "hold" a cat for anyone based on an online application approval. 

 

You must be at least 21-years-old to adopt from Cat Haven.

Cat Care Center Adoption Room

These adoptable kitties are lovingly fostered and cared for by the team at Cat Care Center!

You can visit them any time Cat Care Center is open, M-F, 8AM-6PM.

OUR ADOPTION POLICIES

Adoption Application

  • For online adoption applications, please allow 1-2 days to receive a response via email or phone call.

Indoor or Outdoor

  • Our cats are intended to be indoor pets only.

Sterilization

  • Each animal must be spayed or neutered before leaving Cat Haven's care.

  • If a kitten you want to adopt hasn't been spayed/neutered yet, you can pre-adopt them and then take them home once the surgery is complete.

Adoption Fee

  • A pet cannot be placed on hold until their adoption fee has been paid. Once the fee has been paid, we can hold your pet for up to 7 days.

  • Our adoption fees are non-refundable, except in the case of our Foster-to-Adopt program for adults or in extenuating medical situations, as outlined in our adoption contract.

Foster-to-Adopt

  • Adult cats aged 1 year or older can be placed in our Foster-to-Adopt program. This allows potential adopters to take cats home for a trial period of up to two weeks before committing to an adoption.

  • If it's not a good match, you can try to take home a different cat or receive a refund.
