Cat Haven is a non-profit rescue and placement organization for homeless cats and kittens in the Baton Rouge area. We are an exclusively volunteer organization and could use your help! Cat Haven's mission is to help reduce the pet overpopulation crisis in the Baton Rouge area by advocating routine spaying and neutering, by sheltering and providing care for rescued cats and kittens until permanent homes can be found, and by educating the community to foster an understanding of responsible pet ownership.

As a volunteer for Cat Haven, you can have a direct impact on the lives of homeless and needy cats and kittens in our care. Please review the brief descriptions of the available volunteer opportunities, and select those of interest to you. After reviewing, you can sign-up online to become a volunteer or foster parent and get started helping the cats and kittens in our community!
