Cat Haven receives donation from Spanish Town Ladies Auxiliary
September 19, 2017
Cat Haven received a donation of $2,000 from Spanish Town Ladies Auxiliary (STLA) on Sunday, September 17 at the annual STLA Awards Banquet. With this contribution, STLA will sponsor one of the colony rooms in the newly renovated Cat Haven Adoption Center, providing a welcoming temporary home for kittens waiting to be adopted.
Cat Haven was one of ten local charitable causes to receive a contribution from STLA this year. Other recipients included organizations such as Families Helping Families, Woman's Mammography Center and Capital Area Animal Welfare Society (CAAWS).

"Cat Haven is truly grateful to be chosen as a beneficiary by Spanish Town Ladies Auxiliary for the last decade," said Executive Director Wendy Decker. "The support given year after year by this generous group of women will help us continue our mission to lead Baton Rouge in becoming a no-kill community."
