October 11, 2017
Cat Haven raised $28,000 through its 16th annual Cat Tails and Cocktails fundraiser held at The Guru on Friday, October 6th from 7-10 p.m. Approximately 170 guests enjoyed catering by Bouillababes and live music by Josh Magee, while they perused more than 190 items in the silent auction. Guests also snapped pictures in the Magic Mirror photo booth, provided by Party Portraits Photo Booth and sipped cocktails by Liquid Luxe, including our specialty drink "The Alley Cat."

"We are so grateful to the many Cat Haven supporters for their help in our fundraising efforts," said Executive Director Wendy Decker. "This $28,000 will assist us in our mission to lead Baton Rouge into becoming a no-kill community," Decker said. "It is because of our donors and successful events like this that we can continue to find forever homes for cats and kittens in our great city."
