Please read before completing your submission:
- Our Intake Coordinators review submissions regularly during business hours.
- Intakes are reviewed and accepted on a case-by-case basis; receipt of your submission is not a guarantee of intake.
- Due to the large volume of requests we receive, Cat Haven may not contact you unless we feel we can provide assistance.
- Cat Haven does not accept feral animals. We do not have the resources to care for them or place them. If you need assistance with spay/neuter of a feral cat, please refer to our Spay/Neuter Resource.
- If you have an animal that is sick or injured, please contact a vet. Sherwood South Animal Hospital has an Emergency Clinic that is open 24/7.
- Do not bring your animal to the shelter or any of our offsite events. Intakes will not be accepted in this manner.
- Animals in East Baton Rouge Parish are preferred. If you are not in East Baton Rouge Parish, please try contacting organizations in your area.
